This position will have grower responsibilities which include organizing and setting production priorities to maximize efficiency and optimum plant quality. Candidates must have the ability to identify greenhouse crop requirements along with plant health issues and be able to recommend appropriate actions. Additionally, this position will develop and maintain accurate records of counts, schedules and plant locations of greenhouse crops. Applicants must be organized, have previous supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills.
The seedling specialist will oversee all tasks related to seed propagation including collection, processing and planting. Applicants should be familiar with seedling grading and storage requirements along with experience supervising crew activities. Evening and weekend duties may be required throughout the summer months.

- Minimum two-year degree in horticulture or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
