Oregon is a leader in the U.S. nursery and greenhouse industry. It is consistently among the top three plant producers in the nation, having shipped approximately $740 million worth of nursery and greenhouse plants and Christmas trees in 2009. More than 75 percent of all Oregon-grown plants are shipped to other states — to Washington, California, the Northeast, the Atlantic states, Rocky Mountain states, the Midwest, the South, the Gulf Coast and abroad.

The Oregon Association of Nurseries is the community dedicated to the long-term success, profitability and excellence of Oregon's nursery and greenhouse industry. OAN's impact reaches far beyond its members. Its efforts to market, educate and advocate serve the entire industry.

Digger magazine offers its 8,000 subscribers a monthly megadose of essential industry knowledge and the latest on new plant material.
