Bloomer’s Nursery

Ben and Alice Bloomer started Bloomer’s nursery in 1970 and were later joined by their son, Jim and his wife Glenda Bloomer, the current owner of the nursery. Bloomer’s grows on 30 acres. Its 5 acre retail nursery carries annuals, perennials, garden ornaments, art and furniture as well as the super healthy trees and shrubs grown by the wholesale arm of the nursery. Bloomer’s Nursery specializes in basic trees and shrubs for residential and commercial landscaping. All plants are locally grown on carefully tended land by the Bloomer family which has close ties to the community. The retail nursery assists the homeowner and those who garden for pleasure. Garland Nursery is a 4th generation family owned and operated nursery celebrating 70 years in business. The 6 acres of retail nursery stock includes a large selection of shade and flowering trees and shrubs, unusual perennials, annuals, vines, tropicals, fruits and berries, and houseplants. We carry outdoor furniture, fountains, tools and garden accessories, and an extensive selection of containers for patios and decks. The gift shop in the large barn includes candles, bath and body products, vases, silk and dried flower arrangements and much more. Garland Nursery has a Landscape Architect on staff to assist you with your landscape design; the nursery is known for its knowledgeable staff and customer service. Shonnards Nursery is located on the West end of Corvallis on 1.6 acres bordering Hwy 20/34. Established in 1981 and renamed in 1988, it is a family-owned business featuring a garden center, florist, water garden center and landscape company. The garden center was completely rebuilt in 2000 with a design from Ernst Wertheim. The second generation of Shonnard’s and all our staff invite you to visit and experience our service, selection and hospitality.
