MISSION STATEMENT

Digger magazine

Digger is an Oregon Association of Nurseries-produced monthly publication designed to improve the quality and viability of Oregon’s nursery industry. Editorial content and supporting advertisements supply OAN-member nursery and greenhouse growers and retail operations with timely and critical information to help them better grow, market and distribute their products. The magazine offers information on market trends, production methods and management practices for the nursery and greenhouse industry, as well as providing coverage of state and federal industry-related activities and other news affecting Oregon’s nursery industry. The deadline to advertise is the first of the month prior to the desired advertising month (i.e., Aug. 1 for the September issue).

Digger: Farwest Edition is published in August, and the triple-size issue also serves as the official publication of the Farwest Show, the OAN’s annual industry trade show held in Portland, Ore. The Farwest Show is one of the leading nursery trade shows in the nation, showcasing the Northwest’s product and service providers. The deadline to advertise in this annual edition is May 1. If you miss the deadline, please watch for next year's insertion order form being posted this fall or contact Chris Sweet at the OAN, 503-682-5089, 800-342-6401 or csweet@oan.org. Directory & Buyers Guide

The OAN’s Directory & Buyers Guide is a great resource and is the most easy-to-use comprehensive database of Northwest plant material, services and supplies available to the horticultural industry. The Directory & Buyers Guide's reach is far greater than its 8,000-copy circulation. Horticultural specialists with an agenda to buy refer to the book daily. Targeted display advertising along with listings provides year-round exposure at a nominal cost. The guide is also published online at www.nurseryguide.com. The deadline to advertise in the recent edition is May 1. If you miss the deadline, please watch for next year's insertion order form being posted this fall or contact Chris Sweet at the OAN, 503-682-5089, 800-342-6401 or csweet@oan.org.
