Gardeners appear eager to stay in touch, and in tune, online with what's happening in the world of gardening...at least that's what a growing number of you are telling us.

In response, the Oregon Association of Nurseries (OAN) is launching Random Acts of Gardening, a monthly online opt-in newsletter.

Its purpose is to encourage everyone to garden and to help you do it in a fun, healthy and cost effective way. We also want to provide inspiration with plant "Picks from the Pros" and "Happenings: Garden Goodness Happening Here" events information.

Along the way, we will introduce you to our friends in the nursery and landscape business who will offer special coupons, container recipes, garden design tips and much more for our Random Acts of Gardening friends.

The OAN produces the Yard, Garden & Patio Show in February. As the date of the event approaches, we'll issue more frequent Random Acts of Gardening to let you know about the fun, educational and money-saving things that are happening at the events so you can take full advantage of them.
