Digger Classified Advertising

 

A Digger classified ad is an economical way to reach a targeted audience. Classified ads close the 1st of the month preceding the month of publication (e.g. Feb. 1 is the deadline for the March issue.) No commissions or discounts. Choose between a standard classified or display classified. Classified ads are also published on our Web site, giving your ad additional exposure.

Classified Line Ad (includes employment)

$29 per column inch for OAN members, $45 for nonmembers.

Regular, one-column, standard typeface, centered, approximately 28-38 characters per line, 7 lines per inch. Headlines, bold, italics and special characters are allowed.

Classified Display Ad

$38.50 per column inch for OAN members, $52 for nonmembers. (Plus production charges @ $65/hour.) You may use logos, display type, borders, screens or reverses. One to four columns. One-column ads run in classification; 2-column or wider ads appear at page bottom.

1. Ad Format

Select Standard or Display Classified formats. Standard is the default choice. If you choose display classified, the OAN advertising coordinator will contact you.

2. Headings

Determine general and subhead that ad runs under. A general heading is required; a subheading is optional. Create your own subheading, but be general: "Conifers," "Liners," "Real Estate," ...

3. Indicate number of months ad runs.

4. Check if you want a blind box for confidential replies.

There is a $10 charge in addition to the cost of the ad. We assign the number and mail any responses.

5. Compose standard ad.

Headline will appear in bold. If you selected display classified format the OAN advertising coordinator will contact you concerning size and ad specifications.
