Ball: "Gardening is dead, but plants are forever"
According to Anna Ball, the relationship between plants and people is evolving. For the horticulture industry, this presents incredible opportunities, but it also means the industry must break old habits and old ways of seeing things. The President and CEO of Ball Horticulture gave an hourlong presentation before a packed room at last night's meeting of the OAN Retail and Greenhouse Chapters. Ball said she was glad to see that the Oregon nursery industry is so strong and organized. OAN recorded her full presentation, and a video will be available soon at www.DiggerMagazine.com.
