The Director of Finance and Administration reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for all hands-on supervisory activities for the association and its subsidiary enterprises (a political action committee and a foundation) involving financial and managerial accounting, human resource management, information technology, administrative office operations, and facility maintenance. This position oversees membership services, benefits, and data management. The successful candidate will be able to manage details and adhere to deadlines, enforce association policies, and develop and maintain a budget.
The ideal candidate will possess the following education, skills and experience:
- A four-year degree in accounting or finance
- Five-years experience in a not-for-profit trade association or foundation
- Experience in performing month-end closing and preparing financial statements
- Experience managing annual reviews and audits
