Grants can help replace older diesel engines
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has $300,0000 in leftover grant funds it is making available to vehicle owners who want to replace their older diesel engines with newer, cleaner-burning ones. The vehicles must be non-road vehicles, which can include vehicles used in agriculture, construction, marine and other applications. The grant will pay for up to 25 percent of eligible costs. Applications are due March 29. For more information, read the application materials (PDF) or contact Kevin Downing at email@example.com.
