Food alliance to offer free sustainability certification workshop on September 18
Food Alliance will present an interactive workshop from 8 a.m.–noon Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the North Willamette Research and Extension Center, 15210 N.E. Miley Rd, Aurora, Ore. The workshop will explain Food Alliance's sustainability certification process, including a mock inspection as well as a tour of NWREC's operation with OSU professor Robin Rosetta and Food Alliance inspector Jim Snyder. Food Alliance and Salmon Safe staff will join for a question and answer session. Breakfast will be provided. Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 20 participants.
