Shade Tree Certificate Program
The OAN Shade Tree Certificate Program helps homeowners replace trees that interfere
with power lines with lower-growing shade trees that will leave the lines free and clear.
Whenever a too-tall tree needs to be removed, a forester with PGE will give the
homeowner a certificate redeemable at any participating OAN member nursery.
How it works
Here's how the program works:
- Certificates are valued at up to $50.
- Homeowners may redeem them at any participating OAN-member nursery. You
will receive credit toward the purchase of low-growing trees, shrubs, plants,
soil, fertilizer, bark or other landscaping supplies. They may NOT be used for
birdbaths, lawnmowers, garden tools, sprinklers or supplies.
- Certificates are valid for one year from the date of issue. They are not
transferrable and cannot be used for store credit or cash back. Expired certificates
should not be accepted.
