With engaging 20-minute presentations (including Q&A), attendees can gain actionable knowledge on topics ranging from pest management and disease updates to innovative production techniques and ornamental plant breeding.

Topics include:

• Adaptive production and education: Highlights of practical approaches to mitigate heat stress in both field and container production systems. This session also explores collaborative educational initiatives aimed at building and strengthening the nursery industry workforce.
• Integrated pest management: Stay informed with updates on cutting-edge pest and disease control strategies. Topics include advances in liverwort management, field management of weeds using pulse electric field technology, emerging techniques for controlling pest slugs with bioactive peptides, and the latest findings on identifying and mitigating plant pathogens that pose risks to nursery crops.
